Mason Grode "Spice Rack"

Mason Grode went to culinary school just so he could bring the right blend of herbs and spices to his sick brews. Unfortunately he dropped out so instead we're stuck with the bitter taste of Oko Tron. Some of his opponents have asked the question, "Are we not handing out slow plays!?" but Mason just understands sometimes you have to let a good board state marinate a bit!Mason has more hours on MTGO than any working adult should be physically able to. He holds the unofficial record for most 5-0's with unique home-brews without ever being featured on a deck dump. This should come as no surprise; he is the sole reason WOTC had to ban Oko in modern when they realized even Tron could play it.

Bryan Cole "Karmagoyf"

Bryan enjoys the finer things in life; eating good food and playing subpar mid-range decks in whatever format he can convince himself they're good in. He's always down for an adventure like staying out late, and failing to convert through a quarterfinals match. You can identify him by his foil fanny pack which is ironic, considering his disdain for foil cards.Generally found at a GP in the 2-2 bracket- but don't worry he's gonna make day two kicking and screaming.Be careful if you get him down to 3 or less life as this is when he is most powerful."Life is a resource"
-Bryan at 3 or less life right before he crushes you.

Brinson Kenton "Ubi"

A competent pilot of everything but Aggro and Hard Combo. Has countless hours of reps on Death's Shadow decks in Modern. He'll spend weeks claiming his tier 2.5 deck is well positioned and the best deck in the format, but come Competitive Tournament time, after round 6 when he's 3 and 3, he'll realize he was wrong (Except for that one tournament with BR Elementals). To be fair, his 3 wins were only because he's the Best in the World.Chastising aside, Brinson is a fierce competitor and has the potential to win any tournament based on his general metagame knowledge, quick wit and boardstate analysis.

Nate VanDinter "Dad"

We tell people we call Nate Dad because he drives us to all the events and makes sure we get to everything on time and prepared but in reality we call him Dad because he drinks a lot and we're constantly disappointing him.You can count on Nate to wake everyone up on the way to an event by darting across 3 lanes of traffic at 90mph threading the gap between two semi's to ensure we don't miss our exit and add 3 minutes to our trip time.Dad can't be bothered to figure out how to play Magic on a computer so he will often show up for an event with almost no testing done but will still out perform us all with whatever the best blue deck is.If you're looking for him between rounds just look for the crowd of people watching the last match in progress. He's playing and if it's round two he's playing Mason.

John Wager "Saltiest Gaijin"

John may be one of the youngest members of the pack but he grumbles about the good old days like a proper magic boomer. With early bed times and major back problems to boot. Where Nate is "dad", John is "grandpa".He's collected more bad beats in magic than snacks in his fanny pack (it's snack city in there) and his heart lies with bad midrange decks. But he isn’t afraid to be a dirty combo player. He gets a pass because he does alright with them. When John isn’t getting ready for his next tournament he’s usually streaming and playing booster drafts. But when he is at tournaments, he is a battle hardened and serious competitor to watch out for.

Kat Miller "Kat"

Kat is a human being that plays many card games, NOT 3 possums in a trench coat.As long as Kat is awake there is magic on their mind, and while they sleep they dream of a splinter twin unban in modern. You can find Kat in a tournament hall by simply waiting for a judge to be called on them because their opponent cannot believe the cards in their main deck. After the event is over and top 8 has been called you can always find Kat in their most popular hangout, 9th place. While not in the middle of a match you can find Kat staring at deck lists, going deep into the think tank about every single card in the list. Kat’s go to format is modern, where they will always be trying to play what they consider the best deck in the room. If you ever find yourself sitting across the table from Kat, you are in for an intense match with a strong competitor and a great friend.
